SIGNED MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT

MCCI and the Philippine Guarantee Corporation, represented by Presidents How Han Hui and Alberto E. Pascual, along with their vice presidents Ma. Cristina L. Oreta and Celso R. Guttierez officially signed an MOU on the 14th of July 2025 at the Embassy of Malaysia in Makati City. This marked the beginning of a strategic partnership to support and enhance financial investment opportunities for Malaysian businesses operating in or intending to enter the Philippines.

The successful signing of MOU between the MCCI and PHILGUARANTEE marks a promising chapter for Malysian Investments in the Philippines.

PCCI - LAS PINAS

Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) proudly signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry – Las Piñas Chapter (PCCI Las Piñas) and the Pasig City Chamber of Commerce and Industry, solidifying a strategic alliance focused on trade promotion, investment facilitation, information exchange, and capacity building.

This partnership marks an exciting step forward in MCCI’s mission to foster deeper business linkages between Malaysia and the Philippines, while creating more collaborative platforms at the local level. With this MOU, MCCI joins hands with two respected local chambers to develop programs and initiatives that will drive mutual growth and prosperity.

The agreement paves the way for joint efforts to promote regional business opportunities, organize trade and investment missions, exchange market insights, and upskill member businesses. The collaboration also supports the chambers’ shared vision of empowering MSMEs and strengthening cross-border business networks.

The Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industries Philippines, Inc. (MCCI) proudly signed a Memorandum of Agreement with FEU Alabang, FEU Institute of Technology, and FEU Diliman to foster collaboration in student internships, faculty immersion, research and development, scholarships, and more!

The agreement was signed by:

- President How Han Hui of the Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industries Philippines, Inc.

- Rossana T. Adao, Executive Director of FEU Tech.

- Dr. Armi Cunanan-Yabut, Executive Director of FEU Diliman.

- Engr. Remelita H. Avenido, Executive Director of FEU Alabang.

Also witnessing the signing were:

- Jarvis C. Muyargas, Senior Director for Administration.

- Chairman Sam Mun Loong of QNE SOFTWARE MALAYSIA along with his team.

- Wei Win Tay, Vice Chair for CSR and Sports.

This partnership marks a significant step in bridging academia and industry, ensuring students gain valuable real-world experience and industry exposure.

The Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industries Philippines Inc. (MCCI) is proud to be a strategic partner for the Malaysia-China Summit 2024 (MCS 2024). This landmark event commemorates 50 years of bilateral relations between Malaysia and the People’s Republic of China and highlights ASEAN’s role in strengthening regional ties.

As the largest multi-sectoral exhibition, MCS 2024 featured over 21 industries, showcasing innovation, collaboration, and progress across the region. Representing MCCI were President How Han Hui and Deputy Chairman Stephen Khaw, demonstrating our unwavering commitment to fostering global partnerships.

MATRADE, represented by Director of Customised Program Section and Digital Trade Section, Puan Asnor Vidya Nor Azmi and Deputy Director of Customised Programme Section, Puan Hasziah Mohd Yazid witnessed the signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Malaysia Consortium of Mid- Tier Companies (MCMTC) and MCCI-Asean Chambers.

The business chambers were:

* Malaysian Chamber of Commerce & Industries Philippines Inc (MCCI)

* ⁠Malaysian Business Chamber Lao PDR (MBCL)

* ⁠Malaysian Business Chamber Vietnam(MBCV)

* ⁠Malaysian Chambers Jakarta (MCJ)

* ⁠Malaysian Business Chambers in Cambodia (MBCC)

The MoUs involved the cooperation and frameworks of mutual interest and benefit to all parties including exchange of trade delegations and experts, sharing of information and trade information, participation in trade events as well as technical expertise towards increased trade between ASEAN countries.

The Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Philippine Marketing Association (PMA) officially signed an MOU, marking the beginning of a dynamic partnership that aims to foster collaboration and innovation.

 

Signing the MOU were MCCI President How Han Hui and PMA President Kathy Mercado, with His Excellency Ambassador Dato' Malik proudly witnessing the event. The Ambassador expressed his enthusiasm, noting how this collaboration could help propel the growth of the Halal industry in the Philippines.

 

During the event, PMA also introduced the much-anticipated World Marketing Forum 2024, set to take place in the Philippines, with 18 countries participating. Themed 'Marketing Wars - Marketing 6.0 and Beyond,' this global forum is poised to be a game-changer in the marketing world!

ANTI-RED TAPE AUTHORITY (ARTA)

MCCI headed by its Chairman Datuk Edward Ling signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA), Asian Consulting Group - ACG, and QNE Software Philippines.

The MOU was signed by MCCI President How Han Hui and Secretary Ernesto V. Perez of ARTA. Witnessing the momentous event were His Excellency Dato' Abdul Malik Melvin Castelino, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Philippines, MCCI Chairman Datuk Edward Ling , Former DTI Secretary Ramon Lopez, MCCI Board Advisors - Gov. Jaime Laya, Chairman of Philtrust Bank, and Annie Andanar, MCCI Board of Directors, and Executive Committee.
